Our History

International Photo Group carries a story that began long before today’s collections.
Founded in the 1930s, IPG grew from a photography and printing business into a name closely connected with images, memory, and cultural preservation. Across different generations and changing times, the company witnessed the transformation of Hong Kong and recorded many moments that form part of the city’s visual history.
Photography was never only a service.
It was a way to preserve people, places, emotions, and time.
From early studio photography to printed works, from archive images to contemporary art cards, IPG has continued to explore how images can be kept, shared, and remembered.
From Photography to Cultural Memory

As Hong Kong developed, photography became one of the most important ways to document everyday life, city changes, family stories, and cultural identity.

IPG’s past is connected to this belief:
that images can hold more than appearance — they can hold memory.

Over the years, original works, photographs, printed pieces, and artistic collaborations have formed part of IPG’s creative foundation. These works are not only historical materials; they are cultural traces that deserve to be preserved and reintroduced to a new generation.

A New Chapter

Today, International Photo Group continues this legacy through collectible art cards, printed pieces, creative collaborations, and future exhibition projects.

Our current direction is simple:

To preserve original works, support local creativity, protect creative rights, and make meaningful art more accessible through card culture.

Each card becomes a small format for storytelling — something that can be written, gifted, collected, displayed, and kept.

About Us

Made for Today, Rooted in the Past

IPG respects its history, but it does not exist only in the past.We believe heritage should continue to move forward. Through collaborations with artists, photographers, and creators, IPG hopes to bring historical works, local culture, animal compassion, and personal messages into everyday life. Some cards carry images of Hong Kong. Some carry the voice of artists. Some carry quiet messages about kindness, memory, and life. But the final meaning always belongs to the person who chooses the card.

A Living Archive

From archive, to artwork, to everyday meaning.

Looking Ahead

IPG is preparing future exhibitions and cultural projects to share more about the company’s background, archives, artworks, and creative journey.
We also welcome B2B collaborations, custom greeting cards, corporate projects, licensing discussions, and creative partnerships.
From photography to printed art, from archives to modern card culture, International Photo Group continues to carry one belief:
images can preserve history,
cards can carry feeling,
and stories can continue through the hands of those who choose to keep them.

From archive to artwork, from memory to message.
